Who we are

This website is run by Caveat Emptor LLC (“we”, “us”), a procurement and supply chain training hub based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this site. If you have a question about this policy or about your information, email paul@thetraininghubedu.com.

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to send us through the enquiry form:

• your name and email address
• your organisation, if you give it
• what your enquiry is about, and any programme you pick
• your message
• your agreement that we can use these details to reply
• the page you sent the enquiry from

You don't need to give us any details to read the articles, watch the videos or download the free practice material.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to deal with what you asked for, such as arranging training or sending information about our services. We use them because you asked us to get back to you and agreed to this when you sent the form.

We don't sell your information, we don't share it with advertisers, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who helps us run the site

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:

• Lovable, which hosts the website and its database (the database runs on Supabase). Enquiries are stored there in a private database that only Caveat Emptor can read.
• Resend, an email delivery service, which sends us a copy of each enquiry so we can reply quickly.
• Our email provider, which holds our correspondence with you.

Some of these providers store or process information outside the United Arab Emirates. We don't otherwise share your information unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry only for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any follow-up, and then we delete it.

Keeping it safe

The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, so what you send through the form is encrypted on its way to us. The enquiry database is not public and cannot be read from the website.

Cookies and visit statistics

This website doesn't set any cookies of its own, and it doesn't use advertising or social media tracking. The videos play from our own site, not from a video platform.

Our website host gives us overall visit statistics, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, which websites sent visitors, and their country and type of device. These statistics measure overall traffic, not individual people, and aren't used to build profiles of visitors. The host may also keep basic technical logs to keep the site secure and working.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your information
• stop using your information

To make a request, email paul@thetraininghubedu.com. We'll respond as soon as we can. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on a request.

Under 18s

This site is aimed at students and working professionals. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us an enquiry.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, including LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp and cips.org. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
